Navy blue vinyl covered ring binder of Potsdam postcards, labeled "Volume One." This is one of two binders of Potsdam postcards collected by Fred Rollins of Potsdam. Contains 43 postcard sleeves filled or partially filled with a variety of Potsdam views including public buildings, residences, schools, churches, fraternities, sororities, street scenes and more. Postcards photos are black and white, colorized, or sepia toned. A few are artists' illustrations, such as the Potsdam High School pennant. Some in this volume are from photos by Dwight Church. Some are aerial views of Potsdam. Views included are both interior and exterior. Numberings on back appear to be collector's. Many of the postcards contain messages, postmarks, and stamps. Spine of binder reads: "Rollins Potsdam N.Y. Postcard Collection Book 1." |
